This spool holder is meant to be used remotely near the 3D printer especially when you do not want to keep the spool on the back of the printer or at the top, both situations generate troubles for input shaping vibrating tests as you can imagine that the test will be done with a 1Kg of filament who will be consumed. Using a Bowden tube that is supposed to be fitted in the filament sensor or extruder will allow for smooth filament pulling without pulling the spool holder itself. The 3d print spool holder will accommodate inner diameters up to 72mm, and a max of 78mm wide spools with a standard exterior radius, keeping a low center of gravity for good stability. Additionally purchase: a M10 bowden coupler. UPDATE: Please find ''spool carrierupdatev2'' to replace the piece that supports the filament spool. This is redesigned to solve a better sliding that is needed for CARBOARD spools. The initial design can jam since the cardboard spools will not slide well, also the new design offers better handling and centers the spool better.
