The Eurojet EJ200 is a military turbojet engine. It is built by the EuroJet Turbo GmbH consortium, consisting of Rolls-Royce, Avio, ITP and MTU Aero Engines. The engine is largely based on the Rolls-Royce XG-40 demonstrator developed in the 1980s1 The EJ200 is used as the powerplant for the Eurofighter Typhoon2. It was also used for the Bloodhound SSC3 supersonic land speed car record.
