Here is my take on Kali Yama's 70 ton heavy mech. The og art is very... diverse... Like on the one hand some of the drawing look like an old Apple desktop computer became a battlemech and others look like american football players. I drifted towards the football player end of the art. Given the mechs name, I wanted a mech that looked broad shouldered and strong. The one thing I really did differing from the design is I moved the rear arc small pulse lasers to under torso turret mounts. The spl's were designed to keep infantry and BA at bay, but who wants to give them their back? This way the little pulse lasers can target the wee meatbags wherever they are (even in their own hex?). The mech is fast for its size (5/8) and is designed to be able to engage at just about any range. All the production models have an ERPPC in the right torso and LB-10x or UAC10 in the right arm. The left arm has a medium pulse laser. Several have streak srm 2s in the left or center torso as well as AMS on top (ct). And don't forget the turret-mounted SPLs. The one exception is the canon unique rebuild, the Julius. This makes the Hercules into an oversized, XL engined, hunchback. That is just what Lyrans do. LB20X in the rt, lasers in the arms, and a lot of praying that you do not become the primary target. I have the 9000, the 9001, the 9002 (non-canon, its a 9000 that drops the streaks and upgrades the LB10 to a UAC), the 9003, as well as the Julius. I did not make a 9004, it visually almost…
