Squishy Dumpling MoldWhat is it?This is a mold that allows you to pour a silicone or latex dumpling shell, fill it with your choice of squishy content and then seal it with more silicone or latex.Yes, THOSE dumplings your kids are in love with.Why would I ever do this?I know, this dumpling fad will be over and the next thing will be out in no time at all, but my kid wanted to do a special craft for her birthday sleep over, so now her friends get to make their own dumplings.What do I need to do this?Some type of silicone or latex mixI use: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V5FFPWCSome form of viscous fluid that wont mold inside the dumpling to give it a squishy feel.I use basic off the shelf corn syrup.A sharp knife or exacto knife to trim excess material when done.What else might I want?Glitter to mix in to shell or viscous fluidCorn starch to brush over inside of mold if you want your dumpling to have that "soft" feelColored, glitter, glow in the dark or whatever Elmer's glue to mix into silicone to give your dumpling extra color etc.Elmers glue like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BVWNYFZ6 works great.Glow in the dark Elmers also works really well.Even generic brand knock off Elmers works.I have only tested mixing in Elmers with silicone.
