Bestia parece ser una gran criatura naranja parecida a un perro sin ojos, orejas, nariz ni cola. Se pone de pie a cuatro patas y sus movimientos son algo simiescos. Sus dientes son afilados y su mandíbula inferior sobresale de su boca. Las diversas espinas que se encuentran en todo su cuerpo funcionan de manera similar a los bigotes con detección táctil, y no son pieles.1 Como Bestia no tiene ojos, usa su sentido del olfato y el oído para navegar, que son ayudados por tres fosas nasales en forma de branquias ubicadas a cada lado de su cuello.
