this is a 3d printed chassis design that i have been working on for some time now, i am hoping to post this in order to get feedback on the downfalls of this chassis in order to improve it. UPDATE: 6/24/25 forgot to mention this is meant for gladiator links, (78mm RL, 70mm RU, 50mm FL, 39mm FU, as for shock mounts they are eyeballed to an okay length letting the front and rear shocks to sit at a similar angle, am planning on modeling in axles in order to better determine where shock mounts should be (also on the to-do list) EXTRA HARDWARE REQUIRED: 4x m1.4x6 per "F/R mag mount" being used 2x m1.4x6 per "straight brace" being used 4x m1.4x6 for "RX tray" all other stock sizes may be used for shocks/links/skid IMPORTANT NOTES: stock scx24 skid plate is used. (3d printed skid is on the to-do list.) both "F mag mount" and "R mag mount" seem to be prone to breaking in a rollover, also magnet mounts themselves seem to be unreliable at holding the chassis and body together. (revising body mounts are also on the to-do list.) i suggest using no body and 2 of the file "straight brace" in order to brace and stiffen the shock mounts. (one in front, one in rear) take extreme care, do not over tighten the screws that hold "RX tray" into the chassis slots, chassis will bend and need re printed file "rock slider R" must be duplicated and mirrored or scaled by -100 to get the left rock slider file "frame rail LR must be printed twice for the second frame rail thats all i got, please try it…
