I had trouble being sure if both Z-axis steppers were in alignment. So, I thought, I'll stick a little pointer on top of each z-axis screw so I can easily see if the two steppers are, ahem, in step. I grabbed Bothacker's Skull off thingiverse (the STL one, not his real one), added a 5mm socket in Turbocad and... two watchful little skulls on top of each Z-axis. They simply screw on to the M5 rods. Just get the z-alignment right, then make sure both heads are looking front and centre when Z-homed and bed levelled. Hopefully, by their vigilance at all points of the compass they will also keep the three evil spirits of poor bed adhesion, combing and filament stripping at bay!
