The Rebellion is Dante's trademark sword from the Devil May Cry series. Appearing in DMC 2, 3, 4 and the animated series. Though it has the form of a standard claymore, it is a magical blade, given to Dante as a keepsake from his father, the Dark Knight Sparda. It serves as both a physical manifestation of his power, and through its name, meaning ''resistance'', a symbol of his spirit. The blade's power originally laid dormant, but through contact with Dante's blood, it was awakened! Now you too can weild the power of Rebellion and slay creatures and demons, protecting the world from what lies below.I modelled my interpretation of the sword using a combination of both Rhino and Zbrush, it prints in 15 large pieces and is a total of 1.5 meters long.
