Der Fuß hält an Rinden und rindeähnlichen Gegenständen und kann im Unterricht u.a. als Funktionsmodell verwendet werden.This model shows an enlarged woodpecker’s foot. It features the characteristic toe arrangement typical of woodpeckers. The foot can grip bark and bark-like surfaces and can be used in educational settings, among other applications, as a functional model to demonstrate how a woodpecker’s foot works.
