Forest Habitat Display

For the Forest theme of May 2024, I thought long and hard about what sort of display would work best. I quickly figured out I didn’t want it high in the trees, where the model might need hundreds of leaves. Then on a night when my kids were watching the movie Fantastic Mr. Fox, I realized that a den beneath the tree roots would work perfectly! To pay homage to the movie that inspired this habitat, there are two forms of this model display; one with a sleeping fox and one without. Both versions are completely print in place with no supports needed at this size.
