Spirograph compatible, modular frame pieces

A couple years ago I made these for my child, who wanted a "Super Spirograph" set (out of production and hard to find). They successfully use these pieces, some combinations are a bit janky but the overall usage is decent. Print in PLA or another softer plastic. That way, when you use the harder plastic of the actual Spirograph pieces, any irregularities are smooshed in and corrected after the first use.They have expressed some improvements they would like to see: the frame is flat so there is no place to put sticky tack to hold them still. I haven't had time or creativity to figure it out.
