This part was designed to replace the old display of an exercise bike with a new multifunction display: (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009402355866.html ) A new mechanical mounting solution was required to fit the 39 mm diameter handlebar post of the exercise bike and the sliding connector of the new display, while ensuring an ideal viewing angle. The heart-rate sensors had to be embedded into the handlebar, which requires some drilling, filing, and extensive sanding.
