All four of his limbs were advanced prosthetics, capable of crushing rock or performing delicate calibrations with equal ease. His head was encased in a sleek, futuristic helmet, its surface an unbroken expanse of dark polymer save for a single horizontal visor that glowed with a piercing blue light. From the base of the helmet, several reinforced tubes snaked down, connecting to ports in his armored torso, cycling coolants and nutrient slurries that sustained the organic core still housed within. In his right hand, a plasma pistol whined with contained stellar fury, while his left fist was clenched around the hilt of an energy sword, its blade a crackling, unwavering line of pure, white-hot power. He was deployed to the glassed plains where conventional soldiers would falter. The air itself shimmered with heat and radiation, but Nematon's systems compensated without a whisper of complaint.
