Also available for purchase: http://etsy.me/1p8GUIp After a fourth rewrite, the Flashlight Ring is finally ready! Make sure to check the remix section for all the varations I've made so far. Message me if you are interested in purchasing a vitamins kit. Instructions Tools required: Needle nose pliers Sharpie marker Vitamin BOM Features a 1 watt ultra bright LED (don't stare directly at it, it WILL give you a headache). Powered by 2 watch batteries (377 series, the same I'll be using in upcoming watch project). 2x 1" of fine gauge copper wire (24 gauge I used) Printed BOM Print a ring in your proper size. I uploaded 4 or 5 sizes, and it depends on what finger you want to wear it on. Print a few and see what fits, the sizes are in mm. Print a cap style you like. More cap styles are listed as derivatives. Assembly Take your two lengths of copper wire, and bend them in half. From the inside of the ring, insert the ends into the holes such that excess wire is sticking out along the band in both directions. Pull it taught. With the needle nose pliers, pull the wire back through the battery chamber on both sides, so a loop will be sticking up past the batteries. Insert both batteries facing the same direction. They should snap into place, leaving a loop of wire sticking up about 1/2 cm. With pliers, twist the loop 90 degrees, so it will look like little mickey mouse ears along the plane of the ring. Take the microtivity LED, and bend each lead downwards 90 degrees. WITHOUT the LED…
