The golden detail on the blade is set in from the silver so painting should be rather straighforward. This is cut up for printing on a Creality CR-10 so if you have a smaller machine, you'll have to cut it into even smaller parts. In an effort to minimize potential breaking, I split this in a staggered fashion so the only seam that runs all the way from one side to the other is through the center of the blade, width-wise. This prints in 6 parts, 3 parts on the right side, 3 on the left. Legolas wields these in a pair so if you intend to use these for a costume or a display, you'll need 2 of these knives.
