Each foot has three toes with white claws at the tips. Legend has it that a magical seed grows alongside Bulbasaur from birth on its back. The seed on Bulbasaur's back stores nutrients, allowing it to thrive even without eating for several days. During its early days, Bulbasaur absorbs nutrients from the seed to grow.
