2.5" Dust Extractor Quick-Lock Coupler

This design is built to work with 2.5" dust extractor hosing to create fast and secure attachment when changing between machines. This design will print as 2 "couplers". One coupler interfaces with standard 2.5" dust extractor hoses, while the opposite coupler connects directly to a machine dust port. The twist-lock design allows for quick connection and removal without clamps or tape, while providing a firm, positive lock during operation. The modular two-piece system makes it easy to adapt different machines while keeping a consistent hose connection. Each coupler is made from 2 parts - an interlocking ring and an outside connector for attaching to a machine or hose. The design files include -2 x coupler files (one for machine and one for 2.5" hose) -Connector for 2.5" hose -3 x Connectors for machine dust ports (Sized for 53, 60 and 63mm) -End cap You will also need the following items to assemble (per coupler pair) -8 x neodymium magnets (8mm x 3mm) -8 x heat set threaded inserts (m3) -8 x bolts (m3 x 20mm) (optional - also add a m3 washer to each bolt) -2 x steel hose clamps (ive used 46-70mm clamps from bunnings)
