Modular Structural Learning Toy – Snap-Fit Construction System This project is a modular construction toy designed to help users explore fundamental structural principles through hands-on interaction. The system consists of rods, three types of connectors and support element. Thanks to its snap-fit connection system, all parts can be easily assembled and disassembled without the need for additional tools. The modular logic allows users to create multiple structural configurations using the same set of components. The design aims to demonstrate key structural and physical concepts such as: Compression and tension behavior in rod elements Structural stability and equilibrium Moment and rotational movement through articulated joints Support conditions and load transfer Using these components, users can build different systems such as towers, bridges, and balance structures, each highlighting different structural behaviors. The parts are designed for 3D printing and optimized for ease of assembly. Each component includes a signature detail integrated into the geometry. This project is intended as an educational tool that combines play, design, and basic engineering principles.
