Reaching up to nine meters in length, it was a robust, duck-billed herbivore adapted for grazing on a wide variety of vegetation. Its powerful jaws housed tightly packed dental batteries that efficiently processed tough plant material. Gryposaurus lived in lush floodplain environments alongside other dinosaurs and relied on its strong hind limbs for movement, though it could shift between bipedal and quadrupedal stances.
