Fully functional 3D printed slingshot with trigger mechanism. This is a prototype designed just for fun. The mechanism is tested but I still don't know how durable it will be. Use strong materials, this one was printed in PLA and PETG, but be welcome to use ABS, ASA, Nylon etc. It is strongly recommended to use a 5mm drill bit to make all the holes for the standoffs exactly 5mm in diameter. You can sand or file the holes of the claws slightly to get the perfect fit. It was designed to use 35mm standoffs as axis and rails, but you can use 5mm screws or bolts, be free to test. Extra hardware you'll need: 4 35x5mm smooth aluminum standoffs 2 27x5mm smooth aluminum standoff (you must cut it yourself) 6 M3x10 screws 3 M3x 20 screws 4 M3x 10 countersunk screws 1 25mm ballpen spring A piece of rubber band to thread between the two claws A 16mm OD aluminum tube, I used a piece about 45cm long The design provided is for educational and informational purposes only.
