Desk Lamp Diffuser

A snap-on diffuser for a classic desk lamp I needed a better way to light my models for product photography, and I don't have the budget or even more the space for a real softbox. So I modeled this snap-on adapter for a simple desk lamp and it's working really well! Few details: inner diameter of the lamp is 162.5mm, which should fit the standard TERTIAL lamp from IKEA (mine is a clone, but I measured one at Ikea and that should be pretty similar – I'm not that sure). There is a test print, to check if it fits and snaps firmly. If anyone tries and it doesn't work I'll update with other diameters. There is a clip file, which is useful to hold some wax paper as diffuser (or any gel sheet). Otherwise binder clips are fine Mine is red because I ended other neutral filament (grey, white or black): this should be the best as it doesn't add a tint to the light After printing the version shown in the photos I added a chamfer to the hooks to have a better print quality In the pics you can see a couple of test shot with the diffuser on top and on the side, I think it works pretty well! enjoy
