I made this Parallelogram for a lesson with my class about quadrilaterals. I included the diagonals to aid the conversation about the properties of parallelograms including characteristics of sides and angles. I printed enough so that each student could have one in their hands while we talked about it and completed the worksheet. I made sets for other teachers too and they worked well! The vertices (corners) are slightly rounded so that the models would not be too sharp when handled by students. Mathematical Models Find more models for mathematics in my Math Surfaces, Solids, Etc.
