Tater Ed - Eyein' Murphin' edition New and Hot! (Potato) Fan of Maiden? Need a new toy? This mashed-up Maiden potato with removable/interchangable parts is what you need! Everything is tested and ready to print! Here are some guidelines and points! Printed all these Taters at 150% in FDM. Smaller parts require smaller layer heights (.12) and speeds, larger ones can be printed with higher (.15-.2) and faster. I assume that larger printing 200% or more will yeild even better results! I also used PETG instead of PLA for some smaller parts, which worked great! makes the stronger and better for longevity as they will wear less. You could print the larger parts in PLA and smaller ones in PETG, TPU(stretchy) or also consider resin! All parts are interchangable. Though some might not fit with others on the tater. experimenting is fun though! Printing the top parts (hair, helmets, headdresses) a little larger, like by at least a few pwrcnt works best. They can be hard to get on and off otherwise and may break if there are weak layers. The smaller parts need to be printed the same ratio, and may need some sanding to fit perfectly. Again, fun experimenting! That's about it for now. I am open to changing parts if anyone has more issues, I didn't really have a lot putting these together and painting them, but open to emails! I will be posting these as I finish up pics and file prepping, and there will be packages later!
