This device is considered a "Wheelchair Proximity Alert System". It is a compact device that mounts onto the backside (cloth part) of a wheelchair. It warns the user if obstacles are dangerously close (~0.5ft away). All the electronics needed come with the Arduino UNO R3 kit (which can be bought on amazon), alongside a rocker switch to toggle the board on and off.
