DescriptionThis is the mounting rail for the series of mailbox toppers by DanBGold. It is screwed to the top of a mailbox or other item, and the toppers are mounted to it. A M5 x 20mm screw and nut is used to lock the topper into the rail. A #6 stainless steel woodscrew is used to mount the rail to the mailbox.Background and other informationThis is a series of toppers for my mailbox that celebrates different holidays and occasions. I have gotten many compliments from my neighbors, friends and even the post office. The use of stainless-steel screws prevents rusting. It needs to be printed in weather resistant plastic such as ABS. It is designed to fit the Stratford Architectural Plastic Mailbox available at Home Depot, Lows, Amazon and many other stores. It should fit almost any mailbox with a flat top.If you have a rounded top send me the radius of the curve and I will try and make a rail for your mailbox.
