The Bob-omb Buddy is the ultimate strategic ally in the Mario universe. Unlike the common black Bob-ombs that serve Bowser, these pink counterparts are peaceful, lack a burning fuse, and are dedicated to helping those who challenge the Big Bob-omb's rule. Their most iconic role is acting as cannon masterminds: once you interact with them, they prep the battlefield's heavy artillery, allowing Mario to launch himself toward secret areas or distant Power Stars. They represent the brave resistance within their own kind and are an essential character for any fan who appreciates those unsung heroes that make reaching 100% completion possible.
