Donnie wants to put a waterproof electiral surge strip in a box under a deck beside a pool and doesn't want water to get into it. The enclosure fits his device. It includeds a lip on the top edge at the front as seen in the jpg image on this page. This lip prevents water from going down the front cover. The lid has a recess that catches on this lip to retain the top edge. There are two slots along the bottom edge for wires to enter and exit - and serve as a drain if any water does possibly get in. I suggested to him that after wiring up everything to put steel wool into the void to stop bugs from nesting in there.
