CB750 quick latch ping mount

Created a mounting system to replace the gas cap lock with a 1" quick latch. Printed out of asa. No supports needed. Print on very fine settings. This was specifically designed for 1/4-20 threads as that is the threads on the pin from the quick latch i bought.Theres 2 versions of the file. Loose has offsets designed into the 1/4-20 threads and a normal one if you've calibrated your printer for offsets already. If you dont have a tap, any tripod screw will work too. If you have none of those you can use the pin by grippering the shaft between the ball head and threads with pliers. You just risk scratching it and marring it. Doesnt affect the latch at all though.Use blue loctite but i would recommend testing fitting it all first then go back and reassemble with loctiteTake the gas cap off and tape over the hole so nothing falls inwith the top piece, thread it on to the pin as high as you can while still being able to grip the pin at the ball with your fingersThe bottom locking wheel, slide it under the bracket the lock mounted toThis is the tricky part, while holding the pin get the threads started with the locking wheel. once you get…
