This territorial omnivore glares over the tumultuous water with beady eyes as its thick jowls clench, chewing the river grass it had swam below to gather. Roaming in slow moving herds of dozens of individuals, these aggressive mammals often clear out large expanses of the river mouth from any competing creatures, as most do not want to contend with the shearing tusks that twist out from their blunt heads, capable of goring and puncturing both hide and thick shell with ease. Though aquatic, they have been known to attack any terrestrial aggressors with a surprisingly violent charge, erupting onto the beach in short bursts, their strong forelimbs pulling their heavy bulk into a lethal range.
