Th is fierce aerial hunter will often run down herds, singling out stragglers with its exothermic caustic chemical spray to blind and cripple them before descending and ripping apart flesh to feast. While this insect cannot hope to fly and survive when the murmurations of the maedrynn are at their height of savagery, the tyrandroth absolutely dominates the Farplains as a reigning apex predator for most of the year, only fearing another of its lethal kind.
