A replacement part was designed for the Fanem 2540 shaker agitator to substitute the original damaged component and meet the equipment’s operational requirements. The part, identified as the eccentric sliding bushing, functions as a guide that converts the motor’s motion into uniform linear agitation of the platform. This function is essential to ensure consistent agitation, maintaining the quality and viability of platelets during storage. The eccentric sliding bushing must be printed in Nylon, chosen for its mechanical strength, durability, and compatibility with continuous shaker operation. This solution ensures reliable equipment performance, contributing to the shaker’s efficiency and the safety of the stored biological material.
