Gar-Low Universal Transducer Well

A Transducer Well is a simple vessel to hold a tad bit of water to surround your transducer to allow the sonar signal to penetrate the composite hull of a boat, canoe or kayak. This design is intended to be somewhat universal for entry level fish finders from Garmin or Lowrance. Specifically it is designed for use with a Garmin dual beam transducer(Garmin Striker), a Lowrance skimmer transducer(HST-WSBL or HST-WSU), or a Lowrance SplitShot transducer(Hook 2, Reveal or Eagle). Simply apply a bead of 100% silicone to the bottom of the well and affix in an appropriate location inside your boat. Select a location without any foam or other obstruction which would interrupt the sonar signal. The unit is designed to hold your transducer in a perfectly upright position for accurate sonar readings and data logging. Zip ties can be used to keep the transducer in place if desired.
