Chickens are notorious for s******* where they eat, often because commercial chicken feeders do not design their products to prevent chickens from standing on them. These caps go atop standard chicken feeders and are conical-shaped to prevent (or make it difficult/uncomfortable) for chickens to perch on their feeders. Feeders can be purchased at just about any farm supply or pet store. These cones ensure their food and water stays uncontaminated and decreases the risk of chickens spreading diseases to one another through their food and water.
