An eight-pointed star is engraved on a flat square above the circle. Each point of the star is polished to a high shine, creating a play of light and shadow. A thin, neat border, decorated with a fine pattern or grainy texture, runs along the perimeter of the square. The sides of the ring are also decorated with a raised ornament depicting a crown. The pattern is engraved, contrasting with the smooth, shiny surface of the ring. When used in jewelry, the crown on the side of the ring can be enameled.
