Collapsible Egg Box – Compact, Practical and Protective! UPDATE (version 2) Little upgrades were made: - cut corners of bottom part, - reinforcements of top part. UPDATE: Added version for 6 eggs with HANDLE! For details see below. This is a compact and foldable egg box designed for convenience and safety. When empty, it folds flat for easy storage and transport. When needed, it quickly unfolds into a secure container, ready to safely carry up to 4 eggs. The complete box consists of two identical halves. Each half is made of two main parts – a top and a bottom – connected by small hinges. To build one half, you will need: • 1 × Top part • 1 × Bottom part • 2 × Front hinges • 2 × Rear hinges • 1 × Connector (stabilizer) • 1 × Hook (to lock the two halves together) All moving parts are assembled using short pieces of 1.75 mm filament as pins – just cut and slide them into the designed holes (see marked connections in the images). Once both halves are assembled and connected, they form a compact, lockable egg box that holds 4 eggs securely in place – perfect for carrying them safely in a backpack, basket, or drawer. The stabilizing connector allows the box to be clipped together both when folded flat and when fully assembled. The top part features two mounting pegs to hold the connector in place.
