This is a tray for Tamiya 10ml Jars and will hold 16 Jars in a 4x4 grid At home, I have a range of modeling paints that I use and they are all roughly stored in a draw, when I bought a FDM printer I thought about these designs to create boxes to help store paints from different paint manufacturers that all fit together. The idea was to create a universal tray for each type of paint that can be stored on top of each other. The size of the tray has been designed to be 160mm x 160mm and will therefore fit on most FDM printers. The lid has also been designed to be printed inverted so the build plate pattern will be on top of the lid, enhancing the look.The chequered effect on the lid and the base of the holder also helps with reducing warping when printing. This design is best printed on an FDM printer (filament). Printed on a Bambu Lab A10.4mm Nozzle with a layer height of 0.2mm15% grid infill. This is my first design for storing paints and as I continue to do holders for manufacturers like Humbrol, RailMatch, Revel, Phoenix, etc I will add links below.
