As soon as I saw hirez99's "Spool drawer", I thought of several uses for it. But I don't even know what size his Tesla spools are, and *my* spools are all different sizes. So obviously a customizable one would be really helpful. I figure other people will think the same way. This is probably usable now... I want to save others the legwork I've already done. So I've broken my personal rule by posting something that I haven't even printed yet! I think it will work, but there's still a bit of tidying up to do. The attached STL is just an example of what can be produced. Still to do: 1. Test out stacked drawers and make sure they work. 2. A latch to make it stay closed... currently thinking about a small magnet 3. A stacker thing to stack multiple spools on top of each other I welcome any improvements to this design... I'll get back to you in a few days. Unfortunately, the Customizer on Thingiverse is broken, so you'll need OpenScad on your machine if you want to use it. [Edited 22 Feb 2018] This uses tbuser's clip-pin library for the axles. Click a pin through each side of the spool into the hole in the drawer. For stacked drawers, use a double-ended pin between the drawers. A drill guide is provided to make it easy to drill the holes in the right places. You…
