This design is made from a circular array of a single twisted Loft surface that is defined by 3 elliptical cross sections. I discovered there is a very large number of end result options that this design approach can produce. It all depends on the individual shape and height of the 3 ellipses, how they are twisted in forming the Loft surface, and how many loft surfaces comprise the final shape. I expect I will publish a few more variations of this design in the future. This version has spaces between the twisted lofts, so it is not a solid object.
