Fanatec Thumb Encoder MOD

We've all been there: You're playing F1 or Assetto Corsa Competizione with your Fanatec Formula Wheel and you keep hitting the thumb encoder wheels and adjusting the differential or brake balance. Very annoying! To prevent this, I have developed a thumb encoder mod. The roller fits exactly into the pockets of the thumb encoder wheel and thus prevents the encoder from turning unintentionally. Due to the flex of the component, the thumb encoder can still be moved. Operating the thumb encoder is much more tactile due to the resistance and it is easier to tell when to move it and when not to. The screw is simply unscrewed, the Thumb Encoder Mod is placed on the screw and the screw is screwed back into the steering wheel. That's it! I will test whether the Thumb Encoder Mod also works for the Magnetic Paddle Module in the next few days and let you know! The big advantage is that the conversion is always reversible and the steering wheel is not damaged.
