Sleipnir was the son of Loki, the god of trickery, and the giantess Angrboda. He was born with eight legs and was the fastest and most powerful horse in all of Asgard. Sleipnir was used by the gods to travel between the Nine Realms and was also ridden by Odin, the chief of the gods, into battle. He was an essential part of the gods' army and was known for his courage and strength. Sleipnir was a loyal and faithful companion to the gods and was always there when they needed him.
