Some Ideas for 3D Printer frame using v-wheels on all axis... certainly quite but a bit over kill with the wheels... then again, I prefer wheels.... Version 003 Extrusions (frame) are 20x20x400mm (14 in total)... Hot-end (x-gantry), Heated bed carrier use 390x20x20mm extrusions (3 in total)... Gantry Assemblies (3mm aluminum plate with 4 v-wheels each) (7 in total)... Aluminum Bed is 440x390mm, 3-6mm thick... Various T-Nuts, M3, M5 Nuts and Bolts... Belt drive uses H-BOT arrangement... Suppliers (best price/value) Europe: makersupplies US: openbuilds I purchased v-wheels from the US (*see note) and everything else from eBay and Banggood (China, mostly)... note Some US supplier don't ship outside the US so I used a service from the Irish Post Office called AddressPal, it provides a US address for companies that won't post to Ireland/Europe. This service allowed me to purchase twenty sets of quality v-wheels at the best prices, even allowing for the extra cost and postage... Prices in Europe are often a little more expensive than the US but after shipping, prices tend to be a little cheaper from European suppliers for Europeans that is... Updates Have added a simple printer cube frame (extrusions: 20x20x500mm), it's perhaps the simplest you can build but is only possible using Cube Corner Connector (just found them didn't realize they existed).
