Magnetic Key Box

A secure 'hide-a-key' box with a latching lid. The container is spacious and able to hold multiple small keys, a couple to a few larger keys, and could even hold a key fob. The side of the box has six spaces for 1mm x 12mm neodymium magnets, and a hinged lid that latches and secures well. There is also a groove in the lid and opening of the container where a 1/16-inch o-ring can be glued in place to provide a seal against the elements. The hinge rod includes a small hole that can be used to pass a wire through for a safety line to secure it to a surface. Assemble the box first and then you can drill the hole out to your desired diameter. This key box was printed on a Creality K1 with Overture Black PLA.Profile: Normal (0.2mm)Supports: Yes (normal supports, but trees have also been used to success)Placement: The container body can be printed upright with no supports needed; the lid was printed upside down (latch pointing up) with supports and the hinge rod was printed vertically.
