Isolated from the populous south bank, the cottage and its gnarled inhabitant live a precarious life so close to the unknown, but hey, townie life isn’t for everyone. His house is the stuff of local legend and Children are warned not to wander too close to “Grumble’s” (no one remembers his real name) as he might snatch them up and boil them for diner.
