loosely based off a 1900s British police officers whistle it has two separate chambers to produce a loud 2 note sound. I've been experimenting with all sorts of whistling projectiles over the years and have tried many different inlet and chamber geometries. I've learned some crap... Some work better at different speeds, while others start at higher octaves and descend as they decelerate; the external shape of the projectile and the boundary layer certainly have an effect as well. Internal cone shapes seem to reflect and create a resonator effect that produces louder notes, and the angle and shape of the whistles' cutting edge (the labium) can create a clean or raspy sound, depending on how they split the air. With this one in particular, I must've accidentally nailed everything; I'm boutta use its shape as a formula for other projects since it sounds so crisp and deep, and it is still really loud even when it has lost most of its airspeed. it sounds horrifying its base size is to fit my 20mm cannons but can be scaled to any size up to 5 inch diameter. https://youtube.com/shorts/jGDMv84Do0U?si=kzsf0989T0Z6jHGl
