Securely mount your longer gear to your MOLLE platform with this HSGI-style retaining strap. This is sized for five rows - three loops on the platform, two loops on the equipment. The strap integrates a retaining buckle and button for a secure fit. I recommend printing the Strap in stiff TPU. I don't recommend printing the Pad - either laser-cut it directly into a tough fabric, leather, or reinforced vinyl; or print the Stencil and cut the material by hand. This model also includes a two-loop web mounting pad, so it can screw directly into a holster or pouch to make it MOLLE-compatible. Mounting holes are sized for 3/8" Chicago fasteners. If you're using this to fasten equipment with integrated loops, you don't need the Pad. If the equipment doesn't have loops, the Pad will add them. Just weave the Pad onto the Strap, making sure that the button is on the three-loop side of the Pad. The Strap will (barely) fit a Prusa mk2 or mk3. I recommend printing it flat against the bed. If the Strap doesn't fit your 3D printer, you can print the included Stencil; trace the Strap onto leather or another tough, thick material; cut it out; and use a snap or brad to secure the tab.
