简介
El EE-11 Urutu es un vehículo blindado de transporte de tropas anfibio 6x6 desarrollado y fabricado en Brasil por Engesa a partir de 1974. Su base de transmisión y los componentes de su chasis proceden del EE-9 Cascavel, del mismo fabricante. Ambos vehículos fueron creados en el contexto de la mecanización de la caballería del Ejército brasileño y de la expansión de la industria bélica nacional.
