This is designed to protect the shocks from rubbing through from sliding upside down. They will replace the existing shock standoffs and you will have to get a slightly longer screw. This design has been tried and true on the other 1/14 and 1/12 buggies from rlaarlo, crobol, amoril, and wltoys, this exact design will NOT fit these buggies though I have a different one available for those ones they are just slightly different.
