Original Idea by Tiktok creator: @chuuckaduuck This base print shows how water can be 'sealed' into an infill sponge, using surface tension and probably also wall effects (some shear resistance). By having a sealed cap when filling with water, and then removing it, you can generate enough of a pressure differential to cause water to drop out of the central location (not impacting the rest of the surrounding water, that is still 'stored'). With this print, you will need a 1/4" drill bit or slightly smaller, to punch a hole through. Otherwise, (the preferred method), is to use a slicer to modify the g-code, to remove top/bottom layers where required. An alterative method is to insert a print pause before the top layer closes, and then to drill a hole as mentioned in the bottom.
