Usually such stories start with "so I quit my job", but this time it's the other way around. I needed a comfortable and good fitting headset for my job (and gaming) - so I made one. I had a good quality headphones, I also had a cheap and loose, but good enough microphone, and I had the idea to merge these two into a modern, good looking and generally badass headset. Yes, I know I could just clip the microphone to my shirt and it would work just fine, but this isn't what 3D printing is about, right? The design keeps the raw character of those headphones - it doesn't cover the logo, fits firmly with M3 screws, the cable is properly managed and hidden in designated slots and of course it's 100% revertible. In case you'd like to make the same mod for yourself and couldn't find the same, exact microphone (fitting 6.7mm hole), there's STEP file of the tip to allow quick and painless modifications. I'd recommend also enlarging the hole in the hinge to press in a M3 threaded insert just like I did, however, I keep in mind that not everybody keeps such things in a drawer, so in this design an M3 screw will also get the job done.
