I modelled this coaster to print and once I cleaned it up I then used resin and pigment to fill in the gaps. I loved the simplicity of the design. It also came out so well. The only problem was that I left the resin to cure on an uneven surface as you probably saw. Post production: 1. Various grits of sand paper to get it smooth. 2. Black spray paint as base coat. 3. Red spray paint for the center piece. 4. Resin mixed with white pigment to fill the gaps. 5. Clear coat to seal and finish it.
